Weekly Recap

So as it turns out, obviously, I forgot last week's devlog. This is because I was waiting for some friends to arrive from the states and got scared by them taking forever. 

This also means my job of recapping what I've done is even harder than usual. Woops!

Thankfully, for better or worse, I also didn't do a lot because of the aforementioned friends visiting. So there's not even a lot to recap. A lot of my experiments these past two weeks have been about learning how navmeshes work in Godot, understanding how to use them, and using basic NPC movement to make them chase down the player.

Then, for whatever reason, I decided to do far too in depth research on how explosions work to try to come up with some amount of math that let me convert explosive mass in grams of TNT to an explosion radius and damage. Was it a good use of my time? Not really. It was fun, though.

It was also my birthday Friday, the 1st, so cut me some slack, alright? And I'll be back to full speed before you even know it.
